Affordable and carefree parking
Visitors of DeLaMar receive a discount on the parking costs at the parking facilities below. Discounted parking must be reserved in advance. Enter your license plate number when booking and the barrier will open automatically when you arrive at the car park.
Q-Park Europarking is a large parking garage and a 9-minute walk from the theater at Marnixstraat 250 (Google Maps). Reserve your parking space with a discount via the special reservation page on q-park.nl. Book here at Q-park
ParkBee has several smaller parking options within a 6 to 15-minute walk. Book your parking space via the special reservation page on parkbee.nl. After entering your license plate number and e-mail address, you must enter the discount code DELAMAR20% to receive a discount. Of course you can also park without booking in advance; you will not receive a discount and a place is not guaranteed. Parking for people with a physical disability
Q-Park Europarking has two wheelchair-friendly parking spaces. View the list of all disabled parking spaces in Amsterdam.
The street in front of the main entrance of DeLaMar has been designated as car-free by the municipality. Visitors with an AOV or Valys pass can be dropped off at the main entrance by carrier RMC. Unfortunately, other visitors cannot be dropped off in front of the theater. The shortest distance to the entrance is the corner of Marnixstraat and Leidsekade (Google Maps) or in front of the entrance of Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American (Google Maps). From here it is about a 1 to 2 minute walk.
Via P+R
Park your car after 10 a.m. for € 1.00 per 24 hours on the outskirts of Amsterdam and travel to DeLaMar by public transport. DeLaMar is easily accessible by tram from P+R Bos en Lommer, VUmc or Sloterdijk. More information and availability.
By public transport
Tram lines 2, 11 and 12 stop at Leidseplein. These tram lines depart from and to Amsterdam Central Station. A tram departs every 5 minutes from Central Station to Leidseplein, which takes an average of 13 minutes.
Directly opposite DeLaMar is the Leidseplein tram stop for lines 5 (Westergasfabriek), 7 (Slotermeer) and 19 (Sloterdijk). The perfect stop for our visitors. The entry stop Leidseplein for tram 1 (Muiderpoortstation), 7 (Azartplein) and 19 (Diemen) is in front of the Pathé City Cinema on the side of the Balie.
The nearest bus stop is Stadhouderskade Leidseplein. The exit stop for buses 347 (Elandsgracht), 357 (Elandsgracht) and 397 (Elandsgracht). Across the bridge, the theater can be found on the left. The bus stop is the perfect entry stop for buses 347 (direction Uithoorn), 357 (direction Aalsmeer) and 397 (direction Nieuw-Vennep).
By bike
You can park your bicycle in the renovated underground Leidseplein Bicycle Parking (first 24 hours free) at Kleine Gartmanplantsoen 31 1017 RP Amsterdam (Google Maps). This bicycle shed is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You check in with your public transport chip card or bank card. There is (camera) surveillance, but no security.
Please note: you cannot park outdoor model bicycles (for example cargo bikes and electric scooters) in this parking facility.
It is also possible to park your bicycle in one of the designated compartments and racks in and around Marnixstraat. Bicycles outside these areas can be removed.
