DeLaMar has two theater halls. Check the “Practical information” section for each show to see which hall the show will take place in.
Wim Sonneveld hall
This modern theater hall with an overhanging balcony is suitable for 949 visitors.
The seat and backrest of the chairs are 45 cm wide. The chairs have armrests and the seat is foldable. The distance between the backrest and the previous backrest (legroom) is 74 cm (stalls) or 72 cm (balcony). There is extra legroom (>80 cm) on the outer three seats of row 2, all seats in row 8 and the outer two seats in row 9 in the stalls and all seats in row 1 of the balcony. The outer two seats in row 6 on the balcony have less legroom than average (65 cm) and are therefore less suitable for tall people.
We advise people who have difficulty walking to book in the stalls. Row 8 in the stalls is fully accessible without steps. The stairs in the stalls are wide and shallow, but without banisters. The balcony is only accessible via stairs (with handrails) and slopes quite steeply and is therefore less suitable for people with reduced mobility or with fear of heights. Shorter people may appreciate the steeper sight lines on the balcony.
There is room for two wheelchair users, each with an attendant. These places are located in row 8, seat 1 to 6. Four seats can be removed to make room for two wheelchair users.
On the balcony in row 4, seats 1 and 2 of the balcony are reserved as stimulus-friendly seats. More info
