An atmospheric start to your theater visit
Start your theater visit in Café Americain, an iconic grand café with a beautiful view over Leidseplein, less than a minute's walk from DeLaMar. Café Americain has put together a special theater menu at a reduced rate for visitors to DeLaMar. Choose a delicious 2-course lunch or 2 or 3-course dinner. For lunch, Café Americain expects you to arrive two hours before the start of the show. For dinner, please arrive two and a half hours before the start of the show. This way you can enjoy your menu in peace.
Make a reservation
Do you want to make a reservation and have you already purchased tickets for a sho? Then open the order overview via the order confirmation in your mailbox or log in to your account. Press the 'Complete your visit' button in the order overview and make your reservation at Café Americain.
If you have not yet purchased tickets for a show, you can also add your reservation for Café Americain when booking your tickets. Is there no lunch or dinner package offered online? Then it is unfortunately not (or no longer) possible to book a package via DeLaMar.
Cancel your reservation
You can rebook to another date or cancel via our customer service up to one week before the performance date. Within one week before the performance, you must contact Café Americain via reservations@cafeamericain.nl to rebook to another date (cancellation is no longer possible then).
Accessibility
The Café is wheelchair accessible via the entrance of the adjacent Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American on Leidsekade 97. The Café is located approximately 100 meters from DeLaMar.
