Heineken Hoek Grand Café

Heineken Hoek Grand Café is an icon on Leidseplein, just a 4-minute walk from DeLaMar. Take a seat inside or outside on the terrace with a view of the lively Leidseplein. Enjoy a theater menu with a drink (view here) at a reduced rate, especially for visitors of DeLaMar.

Café Americain

Café Americain is a classic Art Deco grand café with a beautiful view over Leidseplein. Less than a 1-minute walk from DeLaMar. Enjoy a theatre menu (view here) at a reduced rate, especially for visitors of DeLaMar.

Reservation time

For lunch reservations, Café Americain or Heineken Hoek Grand Café expects your arrival two hours before the start of the afternoon show. For dinner, you are expected two and a half hours before the start of the evening show. This way, you can enjoy your menu in peace.

Make a reservation

A dinner or lunch package can be booked up to 24 hours before the start of the show. Find the confirmation email of your original order and click on ‘View order’ in the email. Go to the order with the correct show and click on ‘Complete your visit’. If you have previously created an account, you can also access your order by logging in to your account. Or contact our customer service.

If you have not yet purchased tickets for a show, you can book your reservation while booking your tickets. Is no lunch or dinner package offered? Then it is unfortunately no longer possible to book an package via DeLaMar.

Cancelling a reservation

You can rebook to another date or cancel via our customer service up to 24 hours before the show date. From 24 hours before the show, you must contact the café directly:

Accessibility

Both cafés are wheelchair accessible and have a wheelchair-friendly toilet. Café Americain is wheelchair accessible via the entrance of the adjacent Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American at Leidsekade 97. Heineken Hoek Grand Café is wheelchair accessible via the main entrance. Check the page Wheelchair accessibility for more information on where to park.
