Wheelchair accessibility
DeLaMar is wheelchair-accessible and both halls offer a number of wheelchair seats with space for a chaperon that can be reserved beforehand. In addition, the building has two wheelchair-accessible toilets, one at the main entrance and one in the Rode Foyer. All foyers are wheelchair-accessible and reachable by elevator. In the case of a problem, you can always address one of our theater officers on the day of the show.
The wheelchair seats are located in the first class section of the hall. Motorised scooters cannot enter the hall, but you can switch to a regular chair or borrow a wheelchair. If your wheelchair exceeds a width of 65 cm, a depth of 78 cm (incl footrests) or a height of 91 cm, please let us know beforehand. Wheelchair seats can only be reserved by telephone via +31(0)20 - 220 01 10.
The street in front of the main entrance of DeLaMar has been designated as car-free by the municipality. Visitors with an AOV or Valys pass can be dropped off at the main entrance by carrier RMC. Unfortunately, other visitors cannot be dropped off in front of the theater. The shortest distance to the entrance is the corner of Marnixstraat and Leidsekade (Google Maps) or in front of the entrance of Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American (Google Maps). From here it is about a 1 to 2 minute walk.
